My message to Norway: Stop the mine or don’t mind the Saami reconciliation either

This blog post deals with the decision by the Norwegian Government to allow Nussir company to extract copper in Arctic region, Finnmark. The indigenous Saami have protested the project since mining in that region endangers both the reindeer migration routes and fish populations. I argue that the mine also damages the credibility of Norway's Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
